importance of vaccination

In this Pandemic, we get  contradictory information from various sources about the effectivesness of vaccines, the new variants and projected 3 rd wave. It is quite natural to be confused about  how much would the vaccinations help. The data so far from all over the world shows that 2 doses of vaccine significantly reduce one’s risk of a severe disease as well as of death due to this disease. It is required that 70% of our population must get vaccinated to achieve the herd immunity, to overcome the infection rate and the pandemic. So it is important that we all must get fully vaccinated, at the first opportunity.
